Stage 4 - USB Boot Disk

In this stage we will

• Prepare a new USB drive stick
• Copy the Free McBoot application on this USB
• Copy the PS2 Loader onto this USB
• Install the HDD to the IDE interface
• Install the complete IDE + HDD into the PS2
• Power up the PS2 and check

In the previous stage we managed to install the HDD into the PS2 and check it is ok.

Now we need to get a blank USB and format it to FAT32

Make sure you format to FAT32.

Unzip the FMCB tool onto the blank USB you just created above

Unzip and copy the PS2 Open Loader to the USB root directory as shown below

FMCB is now copied to the new USB drive.

Now eject the USB from your computer This completes stage 4
