1.0 Introduction
I was and still am fascinated by the deep content of any of the main engineering disciplines. One needs to study physics, chemistry and then specialise in their own area. For myself, it is electrical.
Some things that will be covered here as I develop the site:
2.0 Electrical Engineering Basics
Electrical engineering in broad sense is the study and application of power systems from generation, transmission, distribution and consumption. It can be broken down into smaller categories that cover major areas like power generation, electronics, signals, control systems, telecommunications, software that concerns power systems etc. It is a wide and complex area and a degree can take 4 to 6 years depending on what area of electrical engineering is focused on.
We will focus mainly on power systems. Click here to continue this chapter.
3.0 Analysis of vectors and scalars
This section will cover information relating to vectors and scalars and the math behind it to help you in the application of electrical calculations. This will be coming in a future update.
4.0 Electrical Power Components
This section will cover information relating to the main components in electrical power and the math behind it to help you in the application of power calculations. This will be coming in a future update.
4.1 Transformers
Transformers are covered in this section.Click here to continue this chapter.
4.2 Cables
Cables are covered in this section. This will be coming in a future update.
5.0 How Grids Work
This section will cover the basic of how electrical grids work. This will be coming in a future update.
6.0 Generation and Transmission
This section will cover generation of electricity and transmission. This will be coming in a future update.
